Alexander House and Utopia Spa is a 4 Red Star awarded hotel rated one of the top 200 hotels in the UK. Located just a sort distance from Gatwick airport and the M23 junction 10 and M25 junction 6 in the quiet village of Turners Hill. It was built when English country house living was a much sort after ideal. During the 17th Century the family of the famous poet Percy Bysshe Shelley owned the spectacular estate. Great service
A lovely country retreat with a manorial feel. Originally we were looking for a Gatwick hotel to enable us to be close by for an early flight, so we were hesitant to book this one - being 9 miles away from the airport. However we were glad we did, as the customer service in particular was outstanding. We were made to feel more than welcome, shown around on arrival, and given full use of the pool and spa facilities. Staff were relaxed and friendly but also very professional. We used a local taxi firm, Village Cars, for our transfers - they were excellent and very reasonably priced.
