" Great location.
We stayed here because our children were both graduating from Imperial College. The ceremony was in the Albert Hall, just around the corner and the reception in the college, across the road. Couldn't have been more convenient. All staff were courteous and efficient. Our twin room on the second floor looked over the front of the hotel. The decor was typical swag curtains and patterned wallpaper, but was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was large, with bath and shower. Plenty of hot water, very powerful shower, loads of free stuff and, again, very clean. The room was secondary glazed and was reasonably quiet for central London and we didn't get any noise from other guests in the hotel. Breakfast was buffet style - full cooked English, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurts, bread, cheese, ham, cereals. Cost was £12 a head and you could certainly eat enough to keep you going all day! Check-out was quick and efficient and we were able to leave our luggage to collect later that day. Hotel is within walking distance of Gloucester Road tube station. We will almost certainly stay here again as it is in such a convenient position. "
